Record Investment in Machine Tool Sector

According to the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the machine tool sector is expected to grow by 15% in 2025 and break new records in exports. Thanks to localization projects, foreign dependence has decreased and Turkish machine tools have been given priority in the world market.

R&D and Technology Investments Are Bearing Results

Machine tool manufacturers have started to reap the rewards of their investments in R&D and innovation in recent years. Companies that have increased their competitive advantage in the international arena with robots and artificial intelligence-supported machines have started to receive significant orders in European and Asian markets.

Full Support from Industrialists

Ahmet Yılmaz, President of the Turkish Machine Tool Federation, said, "As a sector, we are crossing an important threshold in 2025. We are competing with world giants with state support, the initiative of our industrialists and R&D investments." he said.

Target: $50 billion worth of machine tool exports

Turkey's machine tool export target has been set at $50 billion by 2025. If this goal is achieved, Turkey will become one of the largest machine tool producers in Europe.

Industry representatives and officials say that Turkey's economic development will also gain momentum thanks to this rapid increase in machinery production.
